Using torre.sh

torre.sh is free. Sign in with a Google account you own, play fair with the bots and the server, and do not try to reach other players' data or slow the site down for everyone.

Your games

Games, notes and progress you create are yours. We keep them only to show them back to you; see Privacy.

No guarantees

Torre is provided as is. Engine evaluations and coaching are a study aid and can be wrong. The hosted version may be down or reset now and then; anything important, keep a copy (Torre exports your games as PGN).

The software

Torre's code is free software under the GNU GPL v3. Stockfish is GPL-3.0; the puzzles and the opening index come from the Lichess databases (CC0).

Accounts

We may close an account that abuses the service. You can ask us to delete yours at any time: open an issue on GitHub.
