Why Torre

I built the chess app I wanted.

I wanted to get better at chess: play bots at my level and look back at my own games. Most of that sits behind a subscription, so I built my own.

Torre reviews every game with Stockfish, turns your mistakes into puzzles and teaches step by step, from how the pieces move to the games that made history. In English and Spanish.

Every country has its own bots, and in almost every one there is a Venezuelan who moved there. That is my favourite part.

It is free and open source, and it will stay that way.
