Torre is a small open-source project. Messages are read by the person who builds it, so a short note with the details goes a long way. Write in English or Spanish, whichever is easier for you.
How to reach us
The quickest way is to open an issue on GitHub. Anyone can see and answer it there, so leave out anything private.
What to write about
- Delete your account: write from the email you sign in with and we delete your account, games and progress within 30 days (see privacy).
- A bug or a wrong answer: say what you did, what you expected and what happened. For a lesson or puzzle, its name or the position (FEN) helps.
- Ideas: a lesson you would like, a bot, a famous game for the history section, or a translation fix in English or Spanish, or a country whose bots you would like to meet.
- Security: if you find a way to reach someone else's data, write by email first and do not publish it until it is fixed.
What happens next
Every message is read. A bug that can be reproduced gets fixed first, and the fix reaches torre.sh with the next update; a corrected lesson or puzzle also lands in the Torre you can download from GitHub. A request to delete your account always comes before anything else.
The code
Torre is free software under the GNU GPL v3. You can read every line, run it yourself or send a change on GitHub. The rules for the hosted site are in the terms of use.
